MrPals is a revolutionary new website for the arts and entertainment industries where users can upload and view and music and film video clips, photography, articles, short stories, literature and art.
MrPals is destined to become the first arts and entertainment company to harness leading talent and to bring it to the attention of a world-renowned roster of industry professionals. More importantly, it will enable its artists and writers to connect with a vast new audience in an entirely new way.
Similar in concept to YouTube, which also uses Adobe Flash technology to display a wide variety of video content, including movie clips, TV clips and music videos, MrPals goes much further in engaging film producers, directors, agencies, talent scouts, recording companies from the music, film, modeling, comedy, writing, art or photography industries with new talent.
Mrpals bridges the gap between talent and industry by allowing individuals from around the world to display their work, and offers the chance for many otherwise unseen talent to be brought forth and seen by all. The top 5 in each category will be displayed on the home page as well as on the main category pages.
Mrpals allows people who work in each industry to create private profiles, unseen from regular users for reasons of privacy and approved by Mrpals’ staff, to review new raw talent, offer tips in the forums or tag a user’s work that they think has potential or noteworthy. Users will not be able to contact the industry side in any way, unless contacted first.
When an industry professional tags someone’s work, it will simply attach a category icon to the user’s work or will be commented on in the forum tip they leave. This gives industry personnel the opportunity to browse and search through Mrpals’ sophisticated search mechanism to find specific talent.
Users will be able to interact with each other, build a fan base, collaborate, learn and teach others. The art of the wordsmiths will return in the forums with the guidance of literature teachers and perhaps a professor or two. They will be able to learn from professionals and, with a little magic, some of the stars of tomorrow will be found on Mrpals.
In summary, users will have the ability to:
